yes, I did try to interpret what you were saying...and I gave you a response why I thought the guy's playing was juvenile and sloppy.
What's your point...that other musicians are dumb because they have a differing opinion?

Umm i think u have some issue's to iron out benrand.
Stop puttin words into my mouth, and baiting me further
Obviously, it is YOU that feels insulted. I merely said i was defensive in the name of said artist, i didnt feel insulted in the least bit.
Simply stop posting on the subject, and making yourself look even more foolish. To nonsensically criticize things without any backing or thoughtful discourse,i repeat, was not the point of the thread.
You are trying to intellectualize ,really, a moot point by drawing contrast between dispirate artists in an effort to put me down.
See what im saying?? Hope so.

"then go back to the comatorium.com site and notice that there are NUMEROUS live shows to check out, then u should attempt to post something relevant and intelligent."
I didn't write that, you did. You obviously are saying that what I posted, on a message board dedicated to drums where people (drummers) post messages, was unintelligent. Right?
Therefore, you called my opinion stupid.
Sorry to call you on it.

I stand by that post.
As i didnt call u or anyone stupid.
I stand misunderstood.
Simply put,I would just hate for u to miss out on a future great band.
Nothing more nothing less.
Again your veiled insults are lame.
As i never questioned your opinion.
I questioned your compairison drawing.
But hey if u want me to get real nasty,i can,but i wont. As it is pointless.
So u have the forum benrand, any other jerky things u like to add??

I'm not veiling any insults...
This guy plays guitar like he wants to be Ornette Coleman, or if you think comparing saxophnists and guitarists isn't valid, Sonny Sharrock, but he can't. It sounds bush league.
That's what I wrote and elucidated the first time. Many people have compared the sound of the sax with the sound of the guitar and the technique used in expressing musical ideas.
You call comparing the two unintelligent. Your opinion.
Therefore, you called me stupid.
You can dodge it all you like.

Maybe a & instead?
BTW...on the subj of "wankin playin," the gtr solo on that Kid Rock/Sheryl Crow duet studio tune is a contender for "front-runny Hwhank Award" AW - er, "front runner," that is....

All I'm sayin is the guy is sloppy and tries to go "out" and gets lost in Burbank or Receda or somewhere.
Maybe it's more like a "wonk" or a "weedly"...maybe less a "weedly"...
